EPON Manager (EPM) is used to manage the EPON devices in a carrier
network. It helps deploy EPON configurations on access devices and
requires few manual operations. It provides functions like deployment,
upgrade, and topology display that explicitly illustrate the connections of
OLTs and ONUs. This provides reference for network planning.
EoC Manager
An Ethernet over Coax (EoC) network transmits data signals through
uplinks and CATV signals, and data signals through downlinks. This
allows for mixed transmission of CATV signals and data signals along
coaxial cables and provides return transmission paths for a bidirectional
digital TV platform.
EoC Manager (EoCM) can effectively manage the large number of
complexly distributed CLT and CNU devices in an EoC access network
and the EoC access network as a whole.
EoCM provides the following benefits:
•
Powerful and flexible batch deployment
Allows an administrator to perform batch operations on EoC devices,
thereby reducing workload and improving work efficiencies.
•
Intuitive topology monitoring
Clearly displays CLT-to-CNU logical relationships and the running
statuses of CLTs, CNUs, and links. At the same time, an administrator can
perform operations for devices on the topology.
•
Graphical interface
Provides a user-friendly graphical configuration interface without the
need of the command line to deploy and monitor EoC services
conveniently and securely.
•
Simple modifications of coaxial cables
