You need to prepare the following tools:
• Flat-blade screwdriver
• Phillips screwdriver
• ESD wrist strap
Installing and removing a power module
CAUTION:
Before you install or remove a power module, make sure the power
module is switched off and no power cord is connected to the power
module.
The installation and removal procedures for the PSR300-12A,
PSR300-12A1, PSR300-12A2, PSR300-12D1, and PSR300-12D2 power
modules are the same. This section uses the PSR300-12A power module
as an example.
Installing a power module
1. Wear an ESD wrist strap, and make sure it makes good skin
contact and is correctly grounded.
2. Remove the filler panel (if any) from the target slot.
3. Unpack the power module and verify that the input mode of the
power module is as required.
4. Orient the power module with the upside up. Grasp the handle of
the module with one hand and hold the module bottom with the
other, and then slide the module slowly along the guide rails until
it fully seats into the slot. See callout 1 in
Figure 5 .
