Installing and removing a power module
This section describes how to install and remove a power module and a
power cord. To prevent device damage and personal injury, follow the
installation and removal procedures illustrated in
Figure 3 and Figure 4 .

Precautions
• Wear an ESD wrist strap and make sure it makes good skin
contact.
• Make sure the voltage of the power source is as required by the
power module, and the output voltage of the power module is as
required by the device.
• Do not touch any naked wire or terminal.
• Never place the power module in wet locations and prevent liquid
from flowing into the power module.
• Do not often open the cover of the power module. If a failure occurs
on the internal wires or units, contact H3C Support.
