Configuring inband management VLANs
By default, an OpenFlow instance that is associated with VLANs establishes connections with controllers
only through ports that are not assigned to these VLANs. You can configure one or more of these
associated VLANs as inband management VLANs for an OpenFlow instance. Then, the OpenFlow
instance establishes connections with controllers through ports that are assigned to the inband
management VLANs.
Traffic in inband management VLANs are forwarded in the normal process instead of the OpenFlow
process. The ports that are assigned only to inband management VLANs are not OpenFlow instance
ports.
