In case of limited space, you can gently push against the front face
of the transceiver module instead of holding the sides.

Verifying the installation
Execute the display transceiver interface command on the device to
verify that the transceiver module is installed correctly.
• If the transceiver module information is displayed correctly, the
installation is correct.
In the following example, an SFP transceiver module is attached to
GigabitEthernet1/0/1:
[H3C] display transceiver interface GigabitEthernet
1/0/1
GigabitEthernet1/0/1 transceiver information:
