Avenue Logo HD Application
Outputting a Project
Once you have defined and adjusted the images for a particular Project, you are ready to output it to
the SD card.
Project Folder Organization
When you create a new Project, Avenue Logo HD creates three sub-folders inside the Project folder
named “Audio,” “Images” and “Output.” The Audio and Images folders store audio and image files,
respectively. The Output folder contains the output files once you have processed the Project files.
You can process Project files from either of two places: from the Main Window using the Process
button, or from the Output window using the Process button. After you have processed the Project
files, you can manually copy them to the SD Card by copying the contents of the Output sub-folder to
the SD Card.
Foreground Controls
Title Safe Overlay - displays a white border to indicate the title safe area of the raster.
Image Box - displays a red border around the actual image boundaries.
Saving Adjustments to Project Settings
After making any adjustments to your Project in Preview, click Done. The changes you made are
saved to its Project settings.
Processing
Assets are processed in three ways:
1. Compression – Compresses images using run-length encoding, a lossless type of image
compression. No data is lost from this process.
2. Pixel Geometry – Adjusts pixel geometry from square to rectangular pixels to fit your selected
output format (SD or HD).
3. Color Space – Remaps image color space from RGB to the color difference color space appropriate
for your selected output format (SD or HD).
Stop Process – Stops image processing if it hasn’t already been completed.
Done – Exits this window and takes you back to the Main Window.
To Output Your Project
From the Main Window, click the Output button. The Output window displays.
In the upper left-hand corner, select the SD card drive that you want to copy your Project to. If an
incompatible drive is selected (a non-SD card drive) or if your SD Card is not formatted in FAT32
format, there will be an error message in the window. Refer to Windows OS operating instructions on
how to format an SD card in FAT32 format.
