Previewing a Project
The Preview window provides a way to rehearse or preview what the images in your Project will look
like when transitioning Key 1 and 2 on and off. The Preview area reflects what the 7420 video output
will look like, aspect ratios for key and fill are corrected (maintained) for the selected standard: SD, HD,
PAL or NTSC.
Select Images for Keyer 1 and Keyer 2
Select images from the drop-down menus for Keyer 1 and Keyer 2 in the lower left part of the Preview
window. All the images in the loaded Project are available in both menus.
The Preview Speed shown reflects the standard chosen in the format of the Project. NTSC is 30Hz and
PAL is 25Hz.
Cut and Mix Controls
• Cut 1 turns Key 1 on or off. Mix 1 fades Key 1 in and out.
• Cut 2 turns Key 2 on or off. Mix 2 fades Key 2 in and out.
• All Cut turns both Key 1 and Key 2 on or off.
