• All Mix fades both Key 1 and Key 2 in and out. For example, if Key 1 is on and Key 2 is off, All

Cut will switch them both so that Key 1 is turned off and Key 2 is turned on. All Mix will fade
both Key 1 and Key 2 in or out.

Adjust the frame rate in the Rate field by entering numbers (for example, “30” will produce a
one second dissolve when you are in NTSC).

Adjusting X and Y Positions by Clicking and Dragging

Click and drag images to change their X and Y positions in the raster. Notice that the numbers in the
X pos and Y pos fields above the raster change after an image has been dragged to a new position.

• X Position – adjusts the horizontal positioning of the image. X and Y set where the upper left

corner of the image is with respect to the upper left corner of the raster. When X=0 and Y=0,
the image will be in the top left corner of the raster. Full screen images require an X,Y setting of
0, 0.

• Y Position – adjusts the vertical position of the image.

Density

The Density setting determines the degree of transparency of the image from 0-100%. Density can be
thought of as opacity. When Density is set to 100 the key is full on. When Density is set to 50 the key is
half on.

Default Settings for X, Y and Density

Set default values for X Position, Y Position and Density by choosing File > Preferences. The
Preferences window displays.

The values set in the X pos and Y pos fields determine how images are placed initially when shown in
Preview. However, you can modify their placement by clicking and dragging.

The Enable Square Pixel Processing check box is selected by default. The application expects the
incoming images to be 640 x 486 NTSC (640 x 576 PAL). When the application processes the image
it will convert it to non-square pixels for loading onto the 7420 module. If the Enable Square Pixel
