Carefully pull out the Time Code board which is fixed to the motherboard by two
connectors. It may, therefore require a little effort to pull it out.
•
Using a PROM extractor, delicately remove the "TC" identified PROM.
•
Insert the new "TC" PROM watching that its 45° bevelled angle matches with the one on
the socket.
•
Put the transport plate back into the recorder, being very careful not to trap or squeeze
wires.
•
Screw back the four transport plate screws.
