Unit description

Operation

All units are switched on and off
by the integrated hygrostat.
In dehumidification operation, the
“Dehumidification”

indicator light

on the control panel lights up.

The recirculation fan draws in the
humid room air via the air inlet
grille with filter, evaporator and
following condenser.

Heat is extracted from the room air
at the cold evaporator and cooled
to below the dew point.
The water vapour contained in the
room air deposits as condensation
or frost on the evaporator fins.

At the condenser (heat ex-
changer), the cooled and dehu-
midified air is reheated and blown
back into the room via the air
outlet grille at a slightly increased
temperature of about 5°C to 10°C
above room temperature.

The conditioned drier air conti-
nuously mixes with the room air.
Due to the constant circulation of
the room air through the unit, the
relative humidity in the room is
gradually reduced to the required
humidity value (% relative humi-
dity).

Depending on the room air tem-
perature and relative humidity, the
condensed water drips constantly
or only during the defrost phase
into the collection tray and sub-
sequently via the integrated drain
connection into the condensation
collector located below.

A float switch in the condensation
collector interrupts dehumidifica-
tion via a microswitch when the
collector is full.

The units switch off and the “Coll-
ector full” indicator light on the
control panel lights up. This does
not extinguish until the emptied
condensation collector is refitted.
The units subsequently restart after
a delay of about 3 minutes.

In unsupervised continuous ope-
ration with external condensation
connection, the produced conden-
sation is continuously drained via a
hose connection.

The units are designed for univer-
sal and problem-free dehumidifi-
cation.

Owing to their compact size, they
are easy to transport and install.

The units operate according to the
condensation principle and have
a hermetically sealed refrigeration
system, hot gas defrosting, low-
noise and low-maintenance cir-
culating fan as well as connecting
cable with plug.

The fully automatic control, infi-
nitely adjustable hygrostat, con-
densation collector with integrated
overflow protection and the drain
connection for direct condensati-
on discharge ensure trouble-free
continuous operation.

The units comply with the funda-
mental safety and health require-
ments of the pertinent U directi-
ves.

The units are reliable and easy to
operate.

The units are used wherever it
is important to have dry rooms
and consequential damage (e.g.
through mould formation) is to be
avoided.

The units are also suitable for dry-
ing and dehumidification of:

Living areas, bedrooms, shower

or cellar rooms
