3. Dehumidification mode
In this mode, the room is dehumidified, thereby the
room temperature significantly lowered. Influencing
temperature and fan speed in this mode not pos-
sible.
4. Heating mode
In this mode, the cold air in the room is heated up
to the desired temperature.
5. Recirculation mode
In this mode, the air in the room is recirculated
without changing the temperature.
5 "FAN" key
Press this key to set the desired fan speed. 4
speeds are available:
Automatic, low, medium and high fan stage.
6 "LED/FOLLOW ME" key
Pressing this key for a short time activates/deacti-
vates the LED display on the indoor unit.
If this key is pressed for more than 2 seconds, the
room temperature is detected by the remote con-
trol, rather than the indoor unit. The temperature
measured by the remote control is then transmitted
to the indoor unit at certain intervals.
7 "SLEEP" key
Pressing this key will increase or decrease the
target temperature by 1 °C within an hour in
cooling and heating mode respectively.
8 "SWING" key
This key starts and stops the process to move the
horizontal air exhaust fins up and down automati-
cally.
9 "DIRECT" key
This key sets the desired fin position of the
exhaust fins. Each time the "DIRECT" key is
pressed, the fins change position by 6°.
10 "TIMER ON" key
This key initiates the automatic switch-on time for
the unit. Each time the key is pressed, the auto-
matic time setting increases in increments of 30
minutes. Once the setting shows 10.0, the auto-
matic time setting increases in increments of 60
minutes each time the key is pressed. In order to
cancel the automatic time setting, simply set the
switch-on time to 0.0.
11 "TIMER OFF" key
This key initiates the automatic switch-off time for
the unit. Each time the key is pressed, the auto-
matic time setting increases in increments of 30
minutes. Once the setting shows 10.0, the auto-
matic time setting increases in increments of 60
minutes each time the key is pressed. In order to
cancel the automatic time setting, simply set the
switch-off time to 0.0.
12 "TURBO/SELF CLEAN" key
The "TURBO/SELF CLEAN" key allows the preset
temperature to be reached in the shortest possible
time. Pressing this key in "Cooling mode" causes
the unit to blow a blast of cooling air into the room
at a very high fan speed. The "Self-Clean" key has
not been assigned a function.
13 "SHORTCUT" key
Pressing this key for the first time sets the setpoint
to 24 °C and the fan speed to automatic. If this key
is pressed during operation when the remote con-
trol is activated, the unit is reset to the last oper-
ating mode that was set.
14 "LOCK" key
Pressing this key suspends the remote control
function. After this button is pressed again, the
remote control can be used again.
15 "RESET" key
Pressing the "RESET" key resets all settings to
their factory setting.
