first time or carrying out any modifications to the transmitter. It is also recommended
to re–read the chapter at certain intervals in order to refresh your knowledge about
safety.
The transmitter may only be operated by personnel who have received the necessary
training in handling optical and electrical equipment and have been instructed in laser
safety.
