The cursor is now in the field showing Level# ***. Press [ENTER] to accept
and add data to this Level, or enter another Level # to change Levels.
Pressing the [PgUp] [PgDn] keys will advance Levels, while using the arrow

in each Level.
For each level enter the level time, Current Slope, Motor Slope, High Pulse
Time/Current/RPM, and Low Pulse Time/Current/RPM.
If the AC Welding option is enabled, enter only the High Pulse Time/
Current/RPM, followed by the AC Fwd and Rev Pulse Time.
NOTE

is identical to that of the Procedure Up-Slope and Procedure Weld Level
Information sections.
7.9 Maximum Scale Change
Once the last value of the Final Slope is added, the cursor will move to the
bottom of the screen, into the Scales field. This field shows “Max. Change”
with the cursor directly behind it.
Enter a percent value for Maximum Scale Change. Upon pressing
[ENTER], the screen will advance back to the MAIN MENU; this procedure
can now be saved.
7.10 To Save A Procedure
The last three options available on this software indicate editing functions, to
and from a ‘Disk’. When using this software of a PC, the ‘Disk’ is not the
diskette inserted into either disk drive, rather, it is the RAM space of the drive
and directory where the ACL software is loaded.
In order to actually have these procedures on a diskette, it is best to use
DOS or Windows application to copy the procedures from their drive and
directory to the diskette. Then insert the diskette into the ACL and use option
[F Copy Procedure From Disk] at the MAIN MENU, to copy those procedures
into the ACL.
To save this procedure, you must first name it.
At the MAIN MENU, press [6 Save Modified Procedure] to name this
procedure. Enter up to 7 characters for the name.
Next, press [T Copy Procedure To Disk]. There is no indication to tell you
that this has been done, but it has saved the procedure. If the [T Copy
Procedure To Disk] is pressed a second time, it will bring up a prompt at the
bottom of the screen “DISK: ——— OK to Overwrite?”. Answer [Y] to this
prompt. You have now saved this procedure under the name given.
WARNING
If the procedure is not copied to a diskette using [T],
and another procedure is copied from the diskette using [F],
the last named procedure will be lost.
7.11 Using Procedures From ATW Software
Versions 3.0 and Later
If you have a floppy diskette containing previously saved procedures, you may
recall them on this new system without having to re-enter all data. Note that
only procedures developed and saved on previous systems using software
revision 3.0 or later can be recalled in this manner.
