Answer [Y] to the prompt, “Change Options?”. This will show each option
highlighted with a question mark after it. Answering [N] will advance to
the next option, and leave it red (disabled). Answering [Y] will select that
option in green (enabled). Options in red are considered OFF, while options
in green are ON.
NOTE
For the Option called “Deg. Procedure” answer [N],
unless the previous procedure is written in degree form.
After all the options have been selected, press [ENTER] or [N] at the
prompt “Change Options?”, this will advance to the next screen.
7.5.1 Procedure Purge
For the next sections that involve entering numerical data the following
applies:
The arrow keys [ç, è, é, ê] on the keyboard will move the purple
cursor box up, down, left and right, as the fields permit.
The [PgUp] [PgDn] keys will move from section to section, level to level,
and advance screens forward and backwards.
This section is the Procedure Purge Information screen. Enter all
pertinent data from the previous procedure into the applicable boxes, as the
prompt box moves from field to field. The values for this section are the
same values from Level 0 in the ATW program.
As a value is typed in, press [ENTER] to accept. This will then move the
prompt box to the next available field.
7.6 Procedure Up-Slope
Once all the values for this section are typed and entered, the cursor box
will move to the next section, which is Procedure Up-Slope Information. To
add/change data in this and previous section is as follows:
The cursor is now in the field showing Level# 1. Press [ENTER] to accept
and add data to this Level, or enter another Level # to change Levels.
Pressing the [PgUp] [PgDn] keys will advance Levels, while using the arrow
keys [ç, è, é, ê] will advance the cursor box through the available fields
in each Level.
For each level enter the Level time, Current Slope, Motor Slope, High Pulse
Time/Current/RPM, and Low Pulse Time/Current/RPM.
If the AC Welding option is enabled, enter only the High Pulse Time/
Current/RPM, followed by the AC Fwd and Rev Pulse Time.
7.7 Procedure Weld Level
Levels 2 through 90 is the section called Procedure Weld Level Information.
To add/change data in this and previous section is as follows:
The cursor is now in the field showing Level# 2. Press [ENTER] to accept
and add data to this Level, or enter another Level # to change Levels.
Pressing the [PgUp] [PgDn] keys will advance Levels, while using the arrow
keys [ç, è, é, ê] will advance the cursor box through the available fields
in each Level.
For each level enter the level time, Current Slope, Motor Slope, High Pulse
Time/Current/RPM, and Low Pulse Time/Current/RPM.
If the AC Welding option is enabled, enter only the High Pulse Time/
Current/RPM, followed by the AC Fwd and Rev Pulse Time.
NOTE
The sequence for adding and changing values in this section
is identical to that of the Procedure Up-Slope Information section.
