Introduction

The Eclipse BTX is a tactile control surface intended for video
editing applications such as Apple Final Cut Pro.

The Eclipse BTX has numerous interface options. It has two slots
to accommodate the MCS-Interface Cards. These are available in:

• RS-232

• RS-422
• Quad RS-422

• USB

• Ethernet
• GPI (8 in / 8 out)

Since the Eclipse BTX can be used with any of these interfaces,
the unit does not come with an interface. This allows the user to
choose the interface that is appropriate for their application. The
interface must be purchased separately.

Additionally, the Eclipse BTX has an expansion port, which allows
it to be connected to other Eclipse and MCS-3000 series
peripherals.
