General Information
Product Overview
GAI-Tronics’ Electronics Paging Modules are mechanically designed for mounting to the access panel in
Model 234 Series Stanchions. Each Paging Module can be used with the Model 234SBM Stanchion
Broadcast Module or Model 234SBA Stanchion Broadcast Assembly to supply an amplified broadcast to
stanchion speakers.
The Model 10458-701 VoIP Electronic Paging Module enables broadcasting to personnel throughout an
area over an existing VoIP network via the GAI-Tronics 234 Series Stanchion’s integral speakers. The
Model 10458-801 VoIP WiFi Electronic Paging Module provides the same capability as the Model
10458-701 but allows connection to an existing wireless network. The Paging Modules can easily be
added to an existing network (10/100 baseT Ethernet) or wireless network (IEEE 802.11 b/g) with
minimal cost or effort.
The -701 and -801 Paging Modules include an integrated speaker amplifier circuit that can supply up to
30 watts of output power to an existing 8-ohm speaker or combination of speakers equaling 8 ohms. Each
VoIP or VoIP WiFi Electronic Paging Module is capable of providing two dry contact Type A (normally
open) outputs. Each output is programmable for a variety of use such as activation of a strobe or
initiating a door latch remotely.
The GAI-Tronics VoIP and VoIP Electronic Paging Modules provide the flexibility to address a diverse
range of applications. A wide variety of functions can be achieved by altering the configuration data
stored in the non-volatile memory. The configuration options include:
 Web page configuration
 Configuration file
