Operating Safety
The DR LEAF and LAWN VACUUM has an Impeller that spins at 3400 rpm and
a chipper feature that will chip wood up to 2 inches in diameter.
Towing the DR LEAF and LAWN VACUUM
1. Make sure you firmly attach the DR LEAF and LAWN VACUUM Hitch to your
Lawn Tractor using the Clevis Pin and Hitch Clip (Figure 27).
2. Remove the Jack Hitch Pin, fully raise the Jack Caster Wheel and re-install
the Jack Hitch Pin.
3. Make sure the Collector Base is secured onto the Frame with the Dump
Lever locked to the Latch on the Collector (Figure 28), the Outlet Hose Cuff
is clamped tightly (Figure 29), and the Inlet Hose Cuff is securely attached to
the Hose Adapter on your Tractor (Figure 30).

Use common sense when using the machine. Learn to recognize the change in sounds when overloaded. Stop the engine
immediately if the machine becomes jammed to prevent damage to the machine.

Never put your hands inside the vacuum hose or the chipper hopper to clear debris while the engine is running. Always stop
the engine and disconnect the spark plug wire before clearing the vacuum hose or chipper hopper.
 For best results, use a small stick to clear a clogged chipper hopper.

The maximum size material that you can feed into the chipper hopper is 2 inches in diameter.

Always keep your face and body back from the chipper hopper opening to prevent any material that may bounce back from
striking you.
 Do not refuel the engine while it is hot or running.

Raise the Jack caster wheel as far as it will go prior to towing this
equipment. An extended Jack caster wheel can be damaged or deformed
if it hits the ground or an object.

The DR Leaf and Lawn Vacuum is not equipped for highway use.
