Up to 7 home automation products can be associated with the RF 640 receiver.
• Intruder detector: open window = Frost Protection heating
• Telephone transmitter or telephone remote control: remote control of the installation
(heating, home control system)
• Alarm control unit: surveillance alarm = Setback heating
non surveillance alarm = Comfort heating
To link the receiver to a home control system product, the receiver must be switched into
linking mode. Press and hold the
button for 5 seconds until the OK LED flashes.
Confirm the selection of the home control system product:
• door/window magnetic contact and telephone transmitter: quick press on the Test button
• telephone remote control: press the
button
• alarm control unit: in Maintenance mode, press on the test button
Radio configuration.
Your appliances are delivered linked and ready to be installed,
If you wish to cancel the linking of the receiver with the thermostat, press and hold the
receiver button for 30 seconds until the LED is no longer flashing. To relink the TYBOX 610
RF with the receiver, press and hold the receiver button for 5 seconds until the OK LED
flashes rapidly.

Turn the selector

• Press + or - to set the day, then OK
to confirm and go to the next setting.
Repeat these steps to set the hours
and minutes.
To exit the “time setting” mode,
turn the selector dial.

Correcting the temperature measured
IMPORTANT: In order to change this setting, the unit has
to have been running for at least 2 hours beforehand.
Example: If the tem-
perature displayed by
the unit is 19°C and
the temperature mea-
sured is 20°C, add
1°C to the display then
confirm by pressing
OK.

If there is a difference between the actual temperature
(taken with a thermometer) and the temperature measured
and displayed by the unit, the CF01 function can be used
to compensate for the difference by adjusting the sensor's
readings.
Automatic mode temperature display option
Enter your desired setting using the + or - buttons.

Continuous set-point temperature display.
With this option, press i to display the
room temperature.

With thermostatic valve electric heating or hot water heaters,
the Comfort temperature can be provided by adjusting the ther-
mostat of each radiator. In this case, only the Setback and Frost
Protection temperatures are set by the TYBOX.
Cooling function
If you have a reversible heating / cooling system, change the
setting on the CF04 menu to equal 1. You are now authorised to
switch the Tybox between heating and cooling modes. (see the
section on "Changing the heating / cooling mode")

If your thermostat controls a circulator pump, set the value of the
CF05 menu to equal 1.

operates for 1 minute every 24 hours)
Radio transmission test
With this mode, you can test the correct
operation of your installation.
• The unit displays tESt and sends out a radio
signal every 3 seconds to the receiver.
• Place the TYBOX 610 RF in the room where
you would like to use it, and check for the
correct transmission of the radio signal to the
receiver (its OK LED flashes each time a radio
signal is received). The radio transmission is
operational.
Press on OK to exit the test mode or turn the control selector dial to another position
If the receiver does not pick up the transmissions, move the thermostat so that you obtain
a suitable radio reception.
Press on the
-
button of the TYBOX 610 RF.
The receiver LED stops flashing.
The thermostat is associated with the receiver.
Press OK to go on to the menu CF09.
9 - Restoring factory settings
Turn the selector dial to the position
Press the left button for 10 seconds.
Press OK to confirm or C to cancel.
Return to the shutdown mode display.
You can execute a general reset command to return to the factory settings:
- the default configuration settings
- the default set-point temperatures, Heating Mode - Comfort: 19°C, Setback: 16°C
Cooling mode - Comfort: 23°C, Setback: 28°C
- the default schedule (Comfort mode from 6am to 11pm).
