14. In the Select Format and Append Option window (Figure 27), select a Stats Format –
typically IndivStats, PlrMessages, PositionLineup, or GameSummary.
Note: Clicking Append Format will allow the command to make more than one
request over the same port, such as for batter/pitcher matchups.
15. In the Enter RTD Options window (Figure 29), users may click Enable Enhanced RTD
Display Selections to automatically show a certain display sequence on a particular
sign when the stats request is made. Fill in this information, or just click Next.
Note: If Append Format was enabled on the previous window, be sure to set an RTD
Offset high enough so that data does not get overwritten. Typically it is safe to offset
the RTD stream in increments of “5000”. Also, appended requests will not have the
option for enhanced RTD display selection.
16. In the Enter Selections window
(Figure 28), select the specifics of
the stat request. Set as many
options as desired, or simply
leave them as %Select to let the
user choose them after the
request button is pressed.
Click Next when finished.
17. In the Verify Scripting Command
window, click Finish.
