Another important feature of the program is the automatic start feature. If, after 30
seconds, no keyboard entries are made in response to initialization questions, the data
existing in the program’s “.INI” file is automatically used by the program to initialize.
Therefore, by placing the program’s executable (.EXE) file at the end of the user’s
AUTOEXEC.BAT file, the program can start and operate in its full capacity without the
need for operator intervention.
This important feature allows the program to automatically recover from host computer
power loss and continue to provide the desired monitoring and logging functions without
operator assistance.
