Maintenance
BE1-50/51B-219 and BE1-50/51B-226 overcurrent relays require no preventive maintenance. However,
periodic checks should be performed according to scheduled practices. A recommended periodic test is
provided in the
Testing chapter. If the relay fails to function properly, contact the Technical Sales Support
Department of Basler Electric.
Storage
This device contains long-life aluminum electrolytic capacitors. For devices that are not in service (spares
in storage), the life of these capacitors can be maximized by energizing the device for 30 minutes once
per year.
