AIR FILTER REMOVAL
WASHING FOAM COVER
1. Locate Air Filter Box under seat and
remove cover.
2. Remove air filter.
3. Remove foam cover from Air filter
element.
4. Tap the Air filter element gently to remove most of
the dust and dirt. Blow out remaining dust with
compressed air. If the element is damaged, replace
it.
5. Wash the foam cover per instructions below.
6. Reinstall foam cover to the air filter element.
7. Reinstall air filter and close cover.
Wash the foam cover as the
following:
1. Remove foam cover from
air filter element.
2. Wash foam cover gently
in water or a mild non
flammable solvent
3. Squeeze water out of foam
cover and let dry.
4. Reinstall foam cover over
air filter element
