3 Follow the directions below to remove the natural gas orifice. Apply thread sealant to the LP orifice
(#49 - it has "49" stamped on it) and tighten in place with a 1/2" open end wrench. Slide the
adjustable shutter back in place over the orifice.
Loosen the air control
shutter (see page 19).
1/2" Wrench
Use a 1/2” open end wrench
to unscrew the orifice.

The NG orifice
has “31” stamped
on it.
Apply thread
sealant to the
new orifice
prior to
installation.

Rotate the air control shutter
away from the orifice.
NOTE:
Screw the LP orifice in so the
orifice shoulder protrudes
