Chapter 4 - Channels & Packages

Watch Feature
From the channel listing page, you may check the status of your

stream by clicking on the Watch link. It will open a new window using
the VLC plug-in. If you do not have the plugin installed, visit www.
videolan.org for the latest plugin and review the system requirements
for using iptvManage in Chapter 1.

The pop-up window will display the channel number and name and current

time at the top. If the current program has guide data attached to it, some of
that data is listed below. You also have the ability to Play, Stop, Mute and Full
Screen.

Creating a Package

Packages are collections of individual channels.

Typically, they are used to denote levels of

service. (ex. Basic, Sports Plus, Premium,
Premium Movies) Channels can be in
multiple packages and customers can have

more than one package. (ex. Customer A

can have a Basic Package and the Sports Plus Package).
To create your packages, you will need to ﬁrst conﬁgure
your channels. With that done, browse to Programming
> Packages. This page will list all packages currently
in the system. This list gives you a quick view of the
package name, it’s price and the number of channels in
the package.

To add a package, click on the Add Package button at the top of the
page. The following page will allow you to enter the speciﬁcs for the
package.
