Battery Problems/Solutions
Problem Possible Cause Solution
Beeping sound. The computer battery is
low and Hibernation is
disabled. Connect the computer
to an external power
source immediately.
The battery pack is
warm after charging. This is a normal
condition. No action is required.
No power is connected
to the computer. Check the power
source.
The battery is fully
charged. Refer to the battery icon
located at the lower
righthand corner of your
screen if you are
operating on battery.
Battery pack was
exposed to a high
temperature. Let the battery pack
reach room temperature
before use.
The battery LED
indicator does not light
when the battery is
charging or if it is not
charging.
The battery pack is
nearing the end of its
life. Replace the battery
pack.
Battery charge guage
not accurately
displaying the charge
remaining Battery pack requires
calibration. Calibrate the battery
pack.
