Dose Key
(grey two-function key: yields dose information)
While in calibration-delay or calibration modes, or if the display
has been switched off, this key will be ignored.
When the instrument is fully operational, this key cancels any
other display mode that has been selected and allows dose in-
formation to be displayed without interrupting any logging that
my be taking place. It toggles the display between noise dose
levels and projected noise dose levels.
While % dose or projected % dose are being displayed, pressing
the
key enables results to be selected that have been cal-
culated with four different exchange rate values (Q).
The value in current use will be shown against the Q legend on
the display.
While % dose or projected % dose are being displayed, pres-
sing the
key displays the current criterion level. Pressing
the key again selects the next from a series of up to six crite-
rion levels for use in the calculation. The newly selected crite-
rion level will be shown on the main display. Then pressing the
key again returns the display to whichever of % dose or
projected % dose was being inspected, so that the results from
calculations using the new criterion level can be seen.
