The dosimeter is now operating as a sound level meter, indi-
cating the instantaneous A-weighted Fast SPL on the main dis-
play, with the current time constant (TC= ) shown just below.
7. Press the key once.
8. If Q= some other value than 3 is shown below the main display,
slowly press the key a sufficient number of times to ob-
tain Q=3.
The main display is now indicating L eq , (shown as A-weighted
L AVG with Q=3), and if the instrument contains stored data, (or
is logging data) a level will be shown.
9. Press the key a second time.
The main display is now indicating A-weighted Impulse Max,
and if the instrument contains stored data, (or is logging data) a
level will be shown.
10. Press the key a third time.
The main display is now indicating A-weighted Impulse SPL.
11. Press the key a fourth time.
The main display is now indicating A-weighted Slow Max, and if
the instrument contains stored data, (or is logging data) a level
will be shown.
12. Press the key a fifth time.
