4. Load four AAA or
LR03 batteries
into the holder
supplied, accord-
ing to polarities
shown on the
bottom of the
holder, then in-
sert it into the
battery compart-
ment.
5. Replace and lock the battery compartment cover then install
the keypad.
1.3 Start-up
If the battery voltage is satisfactory, choose between calibrating the unit
(see Calibration), or operating with the previous calibration setting (see
Quick Start).
1.3.1 Quick Start
1. Use the 1.5 mm Allen Key to retract the locking screw and free
the lower sliding cover.
2. Switch the instrument ON.
CAL is displayed and blinks for 20 s.
3. Wait until the display shows a level such as:
