1. Unscrew the retaining ring, which also removes the cone.
2. Lift out the cassette and separate into two halves.
3. Place the filter on the support grid, in the lower half and snap the upper
half in place.
4. Replace the cassette in the sampler body and refit the cone and the
retaining ring.
3.4 Head for Lead Sampling (Part No. B8221/Z)
This design was developed to sample for
radioactive particles (UKAEA) and lead.
The head for lead uses a 25 mm filter,
the filter type being dependent upon the
application. The filter is positioned between the
cover and the support grid, with an ‘O’ ring to
seal the unit, as shown in Figure 4.
