4. USER INTERFACE
4.1 AUTOMATIC OPERATION MODE
• Selecting Automatic Mode:
Press the AUTO button so that the indicator is lit.
The START indicator will also illuminate. (See Figure
4.1 & Figure 4.2)
• Operation Status:
During Automatic Mode, the Operation Status
Indicators will light to show the current phase of
Automatic Mode operation. Refer to Section 8 for
details on the phases of Automatic Operation Mode.

• Set Automatic Tension Set Point:
Set the Tension Set Point by adjusting the AUTO
knob. The Tension Set Point will be displayed on the
front panel display. (See Figure 4.3 & Figure 4.4)
• Front Panel Display
The front panel display shows information on the
current tension set point and control output level by
default. Press the r & s buttons on the front panel
to change the display information. Refer to Section
4.3 for details. (See Figure 4.4)
• Tension Display
The measured tension is displayed on the front
panel. (See Figure 4.5)
• Output Bar Graph
Eleven LEDs indicate 0 to 100% output. The LEDs
indicate increments of 10%. The value is rounded to
the nearest 10% increment. (See Figure 4.6)
• Output ON/OFF Toggle
The
Output ON button toggles the control output
ON and OFF. When the indicator is lit, the output is
enabled and controlled by the TC920V. The output
level is controlled by the state of the Automatic Mode
operation. When pressed, the indicator lamp will
turn off, the Operation Status indicators will clear,
the output displayed on the bar graph and display
will both read “0%”, and the external control output
will shut off. (See Figure 4.7)
