Malfunctioning governed tools can overspeed causing the grinding wheel to explode.
If the tool has a governor, remove the wheel and check the speed of the grinder daily. If
the speed is higher than the name plate speed, check for excessive air pressure. If air
pressure is set for the right pressure for the tool, the tool must be repaired by qualified
mechanics. WORN GOVERNOR PARTS MUST BE REPLACED!
