the DPD reagent causes a pink tint in the sample.

MEASUREMENT PROCEDURE

• Select the

Free Chlorine method using the procedure described in the

Method Selection section (see page 15).

• Fill the cuvette with 10 mL of unreacted sample (up to the mark)

and replace the cap.

• Place the cuvette into the holder and close the lid.

: This test will detect any calcium contamination in the beaker, measuring syringes or sample cells. To

test cleanliness, repeat the test multiple times until you obtain consistent results.

Note: For better accuracy wash glassware with HCl 6N.
