SYSTEM SETTINGS OVERVIEW
You can adjust the settings of the device to suit the way.
Adjusting certain settings, such as those for system volu-
me, power LED and hot keys/touch screen backlight may
increase the standby time.
1 Tap »System« main menu panel.
– The system menu panel displays.
OPERATING THE SYSTEM MENU
There are six preferences icons on the system menu
panel.
7 - Tap »Volume« to set the volume level for
system sounds and enable tapping sound.
7 - Tap »Power« to view the battery power level
and enable the hot keys backlight.
7 - Tap »Backlight« to set the touch screen
backlight level and enable its auto-off function.
7 - Tap »Date Time« to change the system date,
time, and time zone settings.
7 - Tap »Language« to set the language option for
the system menus and voice prompts.
7 - Tap »Sys. Info.« to display your device’s model
name and related technical specifications.
Options for factory reset, GPS reset, and screen
recalibration are also shown.

VOLUME
1 Tap »–« or »+« to adjust the volume level.

POWER
1 Tap the »Hot keys backlight on when pressed« check
box.
2 Tap »<« or »>« to set the hot keys backlight’s auto-off
function.
– Options include backlight off after 5, 10, 15, and 20
seconds.
