Vacuum Fitting Installation: Find the factory vent hose located on the front of the driver’s side
head and by pressing the two gray tabs, remove it, as shown in Picture 1. Next remove the factory
quick disconnect fittings by carefully cutting a small slit on the factory heat-shrunk hose, as shown in
Picture 2.

For the vacuum system, block off the valley cover and install the new ECS vacuum tee. Install the
straight QC fitting on to the new ECS vacuum manifold, as shown in Picture 3 & 4. Now run your
vacuum hose from the vacuum manifold to the BOV and block off the valley pan port with the supplied
3/8 vacuum cap. (Picture 5). Save the 45-degree QC fitting for use later (Picture 2).
