Phone Lock(F12)
This mode is to prevent unauthorized use of tha
phone. With ihis feature on, the following functions are
still availatHe.
» incoming calls can he answered with ,

» Turning oft the phone by (5^ -
The folfowing functions are nol available when this fea­
ture is on,
• Automatic Answering
• Quick Dialing
To Activate:
1. Press {T~l to Phone lock
activate "Phone Loclc’

Wore: Trte phone will remain looked even if the power
is turned off.
Automatic Phone Lock (F13)
II you aotivaia this fealure, the phone will auiomaticaliy
go into the phone lock condition after it is turned off.
(See Phone Lock (F12) above.} When you turn the
phone on, you must enter the four-digit urtlock code
before it operates. (See To Unlock the Phone below.)

The backlighting duration can be changed. Four modes

• 10SEC- iO Seconds Mode
Bacidighl is on for 10 seconds after a key is pressed. It
also lights automatically when the power is turned on
and for arr incoming call. The duration is variable be­
tween 510 30 seconds, by pressing .
• OFF-Off Mode
Backlight is on momentarily when the power is first
turned on, but remains off thereafter.
• ALWAYS ON -Always On Mode
Backlight is always on.
