7. Thread the clutch rod into the ferrule (A) until
the ferrule lines up with the hole In the lower
handle. Secure ferrule in handle with cotter
pin (B) as shown in figure 7. Check for 1/8"
— clearance between drive pinion and front
wheels. See clutch rod adjustment on page 9.
8. Check all nuts and bolts for correct tightness.

shipping block. This block is used
for shipping purposes only. It must
be removed and discarded before
your mower is put into operation.
