WARNING
To avoid serious personai injury, unplug the unit
before assembling vacuum components.
1. Release the vacuum door by very carefully inserting a
flat head screwdriver into the latch opening (Fig. 3).
Twist the tip of the screwdriver gently and pull open the
door with your other hand (Figs. 3 and 4).

Align the arrow on the upper tube with the arrow on the
motor housing (Fig. 5). Note that the flat on the upper
tube faces the vacuum door as you install the tube.
Slide the upper tube into the motor housing. Turn the
tube clockwise until the dot on the tube aligns with the
dot on the motor housing (Fig. 6).

WARNING
Vacuum tube assembly must be used whenever
the door is open to avoid contact with rotating
blades.
4. Slide the lower vac tube into the upper vac tube. The
arrow on the lower tube should align with the arrow on
the upper tube (Fig, 7).
5. Turn the tube clockwise until the dot on the lower tube
aligns with the dot on the upper tube.
NOTE: For electric vacuum kits, the shorter end
of the vacuum bag elbow tube with the
raised ribs should be inserted through the
zipper opening. See Fig. 8.
6. Open the zipper on the large end of the vacuum bag.
7. Insert the vacuum elbow tube through the zipper
opening in the vacuum bag (Fig. 8), then through bag
opening in the other end of the bag until the bag tube
opening is seated against the tube flange.
