gasoiine or oii in the engine. After assembly, refer
to separate engine manuai for proper fuei and
engine oii information.

UNPACKING
Remove the log splitter and loose parts from the car­
ton by cutting the corners of the carton. Make certain
all parts and literature have been removed from the
carton before the carton is discarded.

(1) Beam Stand
(1) Tow Hitch Chain
(1) Hardware Pack
(1) Wheel Bearing Pack (Includes 4 roller bearings,
2 grease seals and 2 hub caps)

Approximately 3 Gallons of Dexron II Automatic
Transmission Fluid
ATTACHING THE AXLE
Block up the engine frame assembly.
Place the axle assembly in position inside the
engine frame assembly as shown in figure 2.
Secure with 1" long fine thread hex bolts (A), four
lock washers (B) and fine thread hex nuts (C),
using two 9/16" wrenches. Tighten securely.
