For thick fabric sewing, it is impor

tant to follow the instructions

carefully.

Make sure that the sewing is set

flat. Needle must be perpendicular

to the seam so that it penetrates
the cloth properly.

Improper setting causes deflection

and possible breaking of the nee

dle. For sewing of very thick cloth,

sew gently, maintaining the cloth
perfectly by hand.

Breaking a needle is not a mechan

ical problem, but simply misuse.

when using very thick materials,

firmly push presser foot lifter up as

far as it will go.
