9. PICKING UP THi BOBBIN THREAD
li Hold the end of upper thread with the left hand, leaving
it slock from the hand to the needle.

Turn the balance wheel toward you to raise again the
needle bar to its highest position.
31 Pull the thread you are holding, and lower-thread loop
will be brought up with It through the hole in the needle-
plate, as shown (Fig. 13).
