Darning
0 To raise the teed dogs, push the
lever In the direction ot the
arrow as illustrated.
Then turn the handwheel.
* Feed dogs must always be up
tor normal sewing.
) For dropping the feed dogs,
push the lever in the direction
of the arrow as illustrated.

Drop ieect lever
1. Drop the teed dogs.
2. Stretch the fabric with the hole in the center
between embroidery hoops, as show.
3. Lower the presser bar and sew at a slow
speed.
4. Move the fabric back and forth slowly until you
have covered the darning area.
5. Turn the fabric 1/4 turn and sew another layer
ot stitching over the first layer,
NOTE; If your fabric is thin or badly damaged,
use a separate piece of fabric under the
hole to reinforce it.
6. When you finish darning, return the pressure
dial to 3.
