2. GENERAL DESCRIPTION
The C-BC850W Wall Mounting Bracket is designed to mount the C-CV854 Series Vandal Resistant Day/Night
Camera (option) to a wall. It also permits the camera to be mounted on a pole in conjunction with the optional
C-BC450PM Pole Mounting Bracket and YS-60B Mounting Band (option).
3. HANDLING PRECAUTIONS
• Mount the unit to a concrete wall or such locations of sufficient strength that can withstand the total weight of
the unit and camera. Especially when mounting the unit on a pole, carefully select the mounting height and
position that do not cause the pole to sway or possibly weaken its strength. In addition, avoid mounting the
unit together with other objects susceptible to wind on the same pole.
• Bolts and nuts used to fix a bracket to a wall are not included. Prepare those appropriate for wall materials
and the strength of installation location, and strong enough to withstand the total weight of the unit and
camera.
• Avoid mounting the unit in locations exposed to constant vibration, and in vehicles or ships as well.
• Avoid installing the unit on the sea or shore, in locations exposed to corrosive gas or chemicals, or in
combustible atmospheres or such extraordinary conditions.
• Do not give the unit a great shock or vibration, as this will cause damage to the unit or the unit to fall.

Notes
• A safety wire for the mounting bracket is not supplied with the unit. Prepare the safety wire separately as
needed, and connect it to the safety wire fixing hole and its other end to a heavy-duty place.
• Wrap self-adhesive insulation tape around coaxial cable joints and power cable joints.
• Install the unit in a location where a space of at least 30 cm can be kept between the unit's top and the
ceiling.
