3.5 AT SURFACE
3.5.1 Surface Interval
An ascent to any depth shallower than 1.2 m [4 ft] (first generation computers 1.8 m [6
ft]) will cause the DIVING display to be replaced by the two SURFACE displays, giving
the following information:
Display I (Fig. 3.19)
•
The surface time in hours and minutes (separated by a colon), telling the
duration of the present surface interval. It is shown above SURF TIME in
the center window of the display (Fig. 3.19, b).
•
The dive time in minutes, i.e. the total duration of the most recent dive, is
displayed next to DIVE TIME in the lower right corner (Fig. 3.19, f).
•
The maximum depth of your most recent dive in meters [ft] is shown in the
same position as your depth readings during the dive. MAX indicator is
then shown in front of the value (Fig. 3.19, a). The SLOW warning will blink
over the maximum depth, if you have surfaced with the SLOW warning on
(Fig. 3.19, d).
•
The temperature in °C [°F] is shown in the lower left corner (Fig. 3.19, c).
•
The no-flying warning is indicated by a blinking airplane (Fig. 3.19, e).
