5.5.2 Setting the Recording
Use the Record menu to remotely set the recording schedule and customize the recording settings, such as frame rate,
quality, and resolution.

On the Main Menu, click Remote Setting.

On the left panel, click Record.

Modify the necessary settings.
Item
Description
Channel
Select the channel that you want to configure.
Record
Enable/Disable recording.
Pack
Duration
Set the recording length for each video file (15/30/45/60 minutes). When the time
elapsed, the recording is saved to another file.
Record
Mode
Select the record mode. Options are:
• Schedule: To record the video at a preset time. See
below.
• Always: To record the video the whole day (24 hours).
Audio
Enable/Disable audio recording.
Frame Rate
Select the frame rate. Options are:
• Fixed: To apply the fixed frame rate based on the selected resolution.
• Manual: To set the frame rate manually. If this option is selected, the Frame Rate
field appears. Enter desired frame rate value between 1 to 30.
Note:
The maximum frame rate varies depending on the selected resolution.
Quality
Select the recording quality (Best/Fine/Normal).
Resolution
Select the recording resolution (CIF/HD1/D1).

To save the settings, click Apply at the bottom of the screen.

• To apply the same recording settings to other channels, click Copy To at the bottom of the screen. See
”Copying Settings To Other Channels”
on page 60.
• To revert to default settings, click Default at the bottom of the screen.
• To cancel any modifications and retain the existing settings, click Refresh at the bottom of the screen.
Setting the Recording Schedule
To automatically record a channel at a specified time, do the following:
