9.2. VoIP Configuration

VoIP configuration is required to enable VoIP calls. Please contact your service provider or the network

administrator for more information on VoIP configuration.

Select “System Configuration” “VoIP” on the left side of the web page.

Set each configuration parameters with appropriate value.

SIP Server

Standard SIP server name for service area, which is also called
SIP Domain.

Server Registration Enable this parameter to register on the server.

Assign the Registrar server address. Notice that most of this
address is identical with SIP server. In case the port number is
not 5060, input colon (:) and the number at the end.

Outbound Proxy

(FQDN)

Outbound VoIP packets pass through this address. The packets
will go out through Registrar server if the user leaves this
parameter blank. In case the “Outbound Proxy” is assigned, all
the packets during the VoIP call will be transmitted to “Outbound
Proxy” even the “Server Registration” is disabled. In case the
port number is not 5060, input colon (:) and the number at the
end.

User ID

The phone number set as user information.

Display Name

The user name set as user display name.

Authentication ID

The ID to register the server that requires password. The User ID
and the Authentication ID are usually identical.

The key value to enable the password when the server requires
a password to register.

RTP Port

The RTP port that transmits the voice packets during VoIP call.
Please notice that by default, the assigned port value will be
used for VoIP calls and the RTP port+2 will be used for additional
second call such as Call Transfer or Call Waiting.
