The Color UFR II/PCL/PS Printer Kit-L1 is available as an
option on each model, supporting PCL, PostScript ® 3 TM
(emulation), plus Canon’s proprietary UFR II (Ultra Fast
Rendering) technology for exceptional printing performance
in both Windows
® and Macintosh ® environments.
Canon’s UFR II printing technology offers the ideal blend of
speed and simplicity for budget-conscious offices producing
typical Microsoft
® Office files. This unique printing solution
uses the processing power of the sending PC to balance
the data load and augment its own capabilities to prepare
files at blazing speed. As a result, professionally finished
documents are generated quickly from a few simple
point-and-click print commands in the user-friendly
UFR II driver screens.
For organizations with higher bandwidth requirements,
choose the imagePASS-G1 print controller, which features
its own hardware dedicated to printing applications. This
option provides support for genuine Adobe PostScript 3
and PCL 5c, as well as the value-added capabilities of
EFI’s Command WorkStation
TM utilities.
