carefully remove all of the contents from the carton. see the
important notes above. shut off the power at the circuit breaker
and completely remove the old fixture from the wall, including
the old mounting strap.

Mounting strap (B) contains several pairs of threaded holes. Find
the pair of holes that matches the spacing of the holes on the
junction box and your fixture backplate. Two of mounting screws
(A) should be attached to mounting strap (B). You may need to
tighten nuts (C) that hold these screws in place. Pull the house
wires through the center of mounting strap (B). Place mounting
strap (B) over the junction box so that mounting screws (A) are
vertical, and in alignment with the hole locations on canopy (F).
Secure mounting strap (B) to the junction box with mounting
screws (D) and a screwdriver. Tighten the screws securely.

Have an assistant help support the fixture. Fixture wires (P) run
from lamp body (X) and through the top cap. Hold the fixture by
the top cap and hang the 3pcs of cable wires (O) and decorative
chain (Q) to rings (M) by rings (N). Adjust the 3pcs of cable wires
(o) until the lamp body (x) is level.

To begin assembling the fixture, thread spacer (Z) to the bottom
of center column (y). place shade (u) over metal shade support
(V) which sits below metal diffuser (R). Align the holes on shade
tabs (t) with the holes in metal shade support (V). thread screws
(W) through the holes in metal shade support (V) and the holes
on shade tabs (t). secure the screws in place with decorative
nuts (s).

By measuring, determine the correct number of rods needed for
proper hanging height. There are 3, 12” rods (J) and 1, 6” rod (K)
included with the fixture. To shorten the fixture, trim the wires to
the desired length plus at least 8 to 10 inches. You must at least
use one of rods (K). Hold the fixture by top cap (O) and thread
fixture wires (P) through rods (K) and/or (J). Pull the wires until
taut. Thread the bottom rod onto the threads of fixture body (L).
Adjust cable wires (O) until lamp body (X) is level. Join the top
rod to swivel connection (h) of canopy (f).

Have an assistant support the fixture weight while completing
the wiring. Cut away excess wire. Thread the fixture wires
through canopy (F). Attach the fixture’s wires to the power
supply wires from the junction box. Connect black to black (or
smooth); white to white (or ribbed); ground to ground (green or
copper). Twist the ends of the wire pairs together, then twist on
a wire connector. make sure all twists are in the same direction.
If there is no ground wire (green or copper) from the junction
box, locate ground screw (E) on mounting strap (B) and wrap
the fixture ground wire around the green ground screw (E). Use
a screwdriver to secure ground screw (E) onto the mounting
bracket. Tuck all wires neatly into the junction box.

Push canopy (F) up to the ceiling so that mounting screws (A)
protrude through the holes in canopy (F). Secure the canopy
to the ceiling by tightly threading decorative nuts (G) onto the
screws.

Install the light bulbs (not included) in accordance with
the fixture’s specifications. Do not exceed the maximum
recommended wattage.

Fasten nipple (AA) then rubber spacers (AI) and (AJ) to center
column (Y) under spacer (Z). Have an assistant hold glass
diffuser (Ab) in place over center column (y). place rubber
spacers (AC) & (AD) beneath glass diffuser (AB) and over center
column (Y). Use nut (AE) to secure everything in place. Push
cover (AF) up under nut (AE) before threading on bottom cap
(AG). Hang decorative chain (AH) to bottom cap (AG).

your installation is now complete. turn on the power and test
the fixture.

CleANINg TIPs

Treat the fixture gently! Regular cleaning will reduce the need for deep cleaning. For regular cleaning, turn off the light and wipe down the
