CHAPTER 4
USING THE LANVIEW LEDS
This chapter describes how to use the LANVIEW LEDs to monitor BRIM
status and diagnose BRIM problems.

4.1 BRIM-WT1 LEDS
The following LEDs indicate the status of the BRIM-WT1.
STB (Standby)
• On - All WAN bridge ports are in the non-forwarding state. Possible
causes of this condition are: redundancy detected by Spanning Tree,
data link layer down, physical layer down, or port disabled.
• Blinking - Some WAN bridge ports are in the forwarding state and
some WAN bridge ports are in the non-forwarding state.
• Off - All WAN bridge ports are in the forwarding state.
SYN (Synchronous)
• On - SYNC port is active.
• Off - T1/FT1 port is active.
