Alarm Recording
This unit is capable of "Alarm Recording". If the alarm input is connected to a door switch, this VCR will automatically switch
from the time lapse mode to continuous recording in the 2-hour mode.

The alarm switch is connected as
shown below.

alarm signal.

* The short circuit should last at least
0,5 seconds.
When set to 15 sec., recording will
take place in 2-hojr mode for 15 sec*,
and return to the previous time mode*
When set to 30 sec., recording will
take place in 2-hour mode for 30 sec.
When set to 3 min., recording will take
place in 2-hour mode for 3 min.
When alarm recording is completed,
the alarm display will blink.
If the ALARM RESET and GROUWD
terminals are short-circuited, alarm
recording will be cancelled.
A voltage of 5 V is fed from the
ALARM OUT terminal during an alarm.
When an alarm signal is input with the
buzzer switch set to ON. the buzzer
sounds continuously*
Notes
If the alarm input terminals short-circuit for more than the
specified time, alarm recording continues during that time.
During alarm recording, on-screen display appears in two
lines.
Quick Start Recording
"Quick Start Recording" can be done using the "Alarm Recording" function.
If there is an alarm input during recording pause mode, it will begin the alarm recording within 1 second and after the alarm record
ing has ended, it will again standby in recording pause mode.
Notes
In the recording pause mode, if there is no alarm input wi
thin 30 seconds, tape will be advanced by about one field
(without recording) in order to protect the tape* An image
will not be recorded at this time.
When a tape on which "Quick Start Recording" has been
done repeatedly has been replayed, blanks will occur in the
seams between images.
If there is a power outage during Pause, it will reset to the
Pause mode, regardless of whether the "RESTART" switch
is ON or OFF.
