ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS
WARNING
Electrical Shock Hazard
Do not plug Into the electrical sup
ply until the assembly Is complete.
Failure to do so could result In elec
trical shock or injury.
Before assembling vacuum, check the
PACKING LIST on the cover of the separate
Repair Parts List, Use this list to verify that
you have received all the components oi
your new Kenmore vacuum
Remove the
tape located
below Ihe dust
cover/lilter cover
on Ihe motor
case
Atlach stretch hose
end to nozzle as
shown.
HANDLE ASSEMBLY
Remove (he screw located just below the
top edge of the back of the vacuum
Position Ihe handle as shown in the illustra
tion below.
Slide lha handle into the opening at the top
of the vacuum-
Insert Ihe screw so it passes through the
handle into the vacuum
Segin to ilghtert the screw with your fingers
It may be necessary to adjust the handle
slightly
